We got Spike, a biting ferret, today. If I hadn't taken him, he would have been hit over the head or thrown in with terriers to make the terriers vicious. Spike's owner was a lad, about 17 years old. His mum has a ferret and cares for him really well, yet she did not care for Spike when her son neglected him. I *do not* understand this, I could *never ever* be like that and look on and do nothing while my son is neglecting and even being cruel to his ferret. The people who brought Spike to me also knew for the last year that Spike was neglected and cruelly treated and didn't do anything. They too own ferrets. They bred 2 litters of ferrets rather than take in poor Spike. What is wrong with this world. Spike was indeed very vicious and we will keep him. His story is here.
