I re-homed the 2 girls. A man phoned Thursday night and again Friday night and told me he was visiting his sister who lives in the next village and he wanted to pick the girls up as well. I was very hesitant, I must have sounded so paranoid Thursday that he said that they are going to a good home. When he came it turned out that he knows my neighbours well as they used to live in the next village where his sister lives and they've known the man for 20 or so years and said he was a very nice bloke so I felt better about him having the girls. He held both girls and they didn't bite him and I told him they would need a jill jab soon to get them out of season and that he would need to get them spayed in a few months time. I also told him to give them clothing for bedding and put a cat toilet in their cage as it's more hygienic than have them poop and wee on the floor of the cage. I showed him how I kept them and the rest of my kids. And then I made him sign the contract that I did. The girls looked okay when the man put them into the cage he brought and he said it was okay for me to visit any time so I feel okay about this adoption. It was hard giving my first 2 rescues away but I know that their new home is okay. So I don't feel bad about it.
I visited Idris on 5th July 99 and took these pictures showing Idris with one of the jills and the jill with her 3 remaining jill kits:
